Sacrifices of our beloved Prophet Peace Be Upon Him.
Our Beloved Prophet Peace Be Upon gave lot of sacrifices for us.
He starved for days due to scarcity of food.... Days, YES!! days. Can we imagine. Oh!!ALLAH the imam of the prophets, starving for days. Our fasts consists of 14-15 hours.without food and water, and imagine how eager we are for the magrib adhaan.
He stood in qayam for prayers till his legs swell. Ya ALLAH!! The imaam of the prophets, standing in front of Allah in qayam till his legs get swollen. We get tired by praying a few rakaats of nafil.
For whom did HE (SAW) did this? Whom did he pray for? But my dear brothers and sisters are we giving him something in return. Yes, something that we must be shameful of... We leave HIS actions just thinking its a sunnah, not a big deal!!
We shave off our beards. Oh!! No ya ALLAH!!What if on the day of judgement on the river of Kausar where the Prophet peace be upon him will be giving water to the believers. How will we show him our face? What if he says, you didn't liked my action in the world, you shaved of your beard because of your office rules. You didn't covered your face because you think what the society will think of you. You left your sunnah prayers because you had your exams at university. what will be our excuse?
Still we have time, the clock is ticking. Let's ask forgiveness from ALLAH. Ya ALLAH! Please forgive us. Please help us to follow the sunnah of Prophet peace be upon him. Ya ALLAH please help your weak slaves.
